The Year of Death
God Damn, are you serious?!
We lost Patrick Swayze, which was enough to bring a tear to my eye;
Michael Jackson-
The list goes on...
Its a shame to think of what this woman would have accomplished.
At least there is plenty of past air-time to feel nostalgic.
RIP Brittany, you'll be missed oh-so much. :(

MKA News
Style.com has just released a photo gallery of every shot ever taken of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Together or separate. Either way, I'm loving it! Its a little better set up and a little more official than their paparazzi site. Which I feel like I'm a stalker every time I browse it. They are actually posing.... Thanks Nylon!
Oh and P.s. - you can start your own look book with your fave celeb trends... which is a feature I think all of us can appreciate!
Yes Natalie!

Romanian Rose
Grand Sapeurs
Members have their own code of honour, codes of professional conduct, and strict notions of morality.
Its a world within a world within a city.
The arrival of the French and the Belgians to the Congo, at the beginning of the 20th Century, brought along the myth of Parisian elegance among the Congolese youth working for the colonialists.
In 1922, Matsoua was the first ever Congolese to return from Paris fully clad as an authentic French gentleman, which caused great uproar and much admiration amongst his fellow countrymen.
He was the first Grand Sapeur."

Pass the Sugar Babe...
Ineke released "Paris Fieldnotes". They've taken extracts of coriandor and tobacco; evoking the smell of coffee, leaves, smoke, and sugar. You smell and feel the essence of the back of a Parisian Cafe!
At $88 a bottle, its a bit out of my price range...but a girl can dream.

Talk to the Moose!
This is probably the only kids post I'll do for a while...
The end is my favorite!
The Month of IT
Being on an IT girl craze lately, I had to post her. Musically talented, beautiful, and totally couture cultured, Kemp Muhl has got It Girl written all over her. She is currently one of the faces for Maybeline and is also collaborating with boyfriend Sean Lennon in Ghost of a Saber Toothed Tiger. Their music is very parallel universe and American Indian inspired for my ears. I love it!
And might I add: Why couldn't we have gotten a hot Kemp Muhl cover in the states? After watching PUSH for the first time last night, which by the way is like the hardest movie to follow ever, ever, ever; I am all about Tokyo Street fashion, without the Harajuku-thankyou. More to follow on that later...
